A recently retired Navy family, Paul started his career as a Surface Warfare Officer driving warships for 20 years since graduation day at Vanderbilt University. Following a number of professional milestones over the years, his career culminated as the Commanding Officer or “Captain” of a Guided Missile Destroyer out of Mayport, FL.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Georgia and jumped into a few different professional ventures…starting out as a middle school math teacher and then moving abroad to Spain to teach English. After extensive travel across Europe, Asia, and Australia, she moved back to Atlanta, GA to work in Financial Services. Ready for more adventure, she decided to combine her love of travel and business and join the US Navy as a Supply Corps Officer. Her career took her around the world and back working on a Destroyer out of Japan, in the Navy’s budgeting office in Washington DC, and as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of the Navy Exchange Command. She simultaneously completed her MBA at the University of North Carolina. Along the way, she met her best friend, husband, and now business partner Paul!
We share a passion for travel, boating, and being outdoors with our two young boys. We fell in love with the beach at Mayport, Jumbo Shrimp Baseball games on Sundays, and cruising out to the sandbar…how could we not stay in Jacksonville? After Paul relinquished command and retired from the Navy, we quickly found an opportunity that stood out and would keep us here!
After dedicating our lives to service, we’re ready for our next adventure: empowering beauty professionals through entrepreneurship! We chose IMAGE because we believe in CREATIVITY, FREEDOM and SUCCESS…and because the culture here is fun!
